Australia-European Union FTA Update with Australia's Chief Negotiator - Alison Burrows

Australia's Trade Minister, Don Farrell, met with his EU counterpart in early June to progress FTA negotiations. Media speculated that the meeting would resolve the last outstanding issues. Instead, Minister Farrell left the meeting saying conclusion in the next few months was looking more difficult. Alison Burrows, Australia's Chief Negotiator for the Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement provided valuable insights into what the remaining blockages were and next steps.
