WTO Young Trade Leaders: Call for Submissions
The World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Young Trade Leaders cohort are seeking submissions, from people aged 18-28, focused on the future of global trade and WTO reform ahead of the WTO’s 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14) happening in March.
The Young Trade Leaders initiative provides a platform for young people to contribute perspectives on international trade policy. While supported by the WTO, the Young Trade Leaders do not represent the views or positions of the WTO or its Members.
YTL are seeking short written contributions (approximately 250 words) from anyone aged 18-28 around the world on topics including:
· How global trade rules and WTO processes affect young people’s opportunities and futures
· Forward-looking ideas for WTO reform, including issues under discussion at MC14
· Evidence-based reflections grounded in lived, regional, or sector-specific experience
Selected submissions will be reviewed and compiled into a policy-oriented publication to be shared ahead of MC14, including publication on the WTO Young Trade Leaders website and potential dissemination through partner organisations.
Submission deadline: 16 February at 23:59 (Eastern Standard Time, UTC-5)
