This course provides an introduction to the principal policy tools that are deployed to impact the international flow of goods, services and investment. The course aims to equipe participants with a solid understanding of these tools in light of their increased use to achieve national security and climate change policy objectives. President Trump’s resort to tariffs to achieve US economic and other policy objectives is equally contributing to the increased use of these tools.
