Course 7: Inward Investment Promotion for Australian Government Officials

This course provides insights and teaches practical skills needed by government officials responsible for attracting inward foreign investment. The virtual course is comprised of 10 two-hour units conducted over 10 weeks.

  • Importance of identifying, understanding and communicating the relevant regulatory, cultural, environmental and commercial factors likely to impact on the investment; Australian and state and territory foreign investor regulatory requirements including Foreign Investment Review Board requirements; Australian and state and territory environmental requirements; Native Title considerations: Financial regulations; Workplace regulations; Cultural considerations.
